Dr. Opul Carlos the proprietor of Health link clinics on Wednesday 12 June 2024 distributed 160kg of soyabeans and 400kg of fertilizer to Nen Anyim women group in Agwingiri parish, Agwingiri sub county Amolatar District.
Meanwhile chairperson Nen Anyim women group Ms. Grace Chagara thanked Carlo's Saturday Opul for supporting them urging fellow women to put into proper use the seed.
Mrs. Janet Atebe who is the Vice chairperson of the group said that she will get school fees for paying her children after planting the seed applauding Carols for the kind heart.
Atebe asked Carols to continue with other groups on Kyoga Constituency.
The group general Secretary Scovia Obaro expressed gratitude to Carlos for giving her seed promising that will change her life from begging to someone else.
Of the 14 members in the group each person went with 10kg of Soya beans and 25kg of fertilizer.
Carlos Saturday Opul who is seeking the position of Kyoga Constituency MP come 2026 said he thought it is good to help farmers with Soya beans seed since most farmers are cultivating hand to mouth something that do not bring income in their homes.
He added that soyabean is easy to maintain and has ready market that can help farmers get good income generation improving on their standard of living.
Dr.Carlos as well said "My vision is to get all farmers into groups and restore cooperatives."
He asked the well-wishers to join him in helping the farmers who at time remain with no seed to plant.
Dr.Carlos will continue with our farmers groups in Kyoga County today.
