In the meeting organised on Friday 21st June 2024 by the executive committee selected Odongo Emmanuel as the chairperson, Odur Francis as Secretary and Ojok Jabuloni Finance for the installation of new boda boda leadership come 20th September 2024.
The meeting also confirmed chairpersons of the boda boda from all the sub county a member of the committee.
They as well confirmed a draft budget of 13million towards the installation program.
Meanwhile the District executive comproming of all the sub county chairperson and the askari resolute that when a boda dies the District leadership buries tasking each sub county with condolence contribution of 30,000 u ganda shillings.
They also resolute that each sub county to contribute 5000 Uganda shillings for renting district chaperson office.
They also confirm that for one to be a boda must register with their chairperson from their respective stage and also buy the uniforms,tags and identity card for easy identification.
Chairperson installation committee Emma Odongo encourage all boda person to stay firm and positive towards swearing in of new leaderships.
He also call on organizations in Amolatr to welcome their request positively towards their budget.
Meanwhile chairperson Amolatar United boda boda Association Okello Patrick AKA Okello Amido praised the planning committee for always coming up with new things that unites all bodas in Amolatar.
He added that uniting all bodas and wearing uniform,tags and identity card will help separate who a boda person is to avoid terming boda as thefts.
